Last weekend we provided full service catering for a gorgeous wedding at the AT&T Community Centre at San Fernando Cathedral. This spacious, modern event space is perfect for weddings of varied sizes – including this lively 300 person wedding celebration.
The bride selected black and ivory linens, accented with single red roses in small cylinder glass vases with floating votive candles. Gold chargers added a touch of elegance.
Our catering staff included bartenders and a margarita machine. Following cocktails, the menu included:
Grilled marinated beef and chicken fajitas
served with warmed corn and flour tortillas
Choice of pico de gallo, sour cream, frilled sweet peppers and onions
cheddar and monterrey cheeses, salsa verde and picante salsa
Served alongside beans a la charra and mexican style rice
Freshly brewed iced tea and premium coffee

Candy and dessert stations continue to grow in popularity. The sweet morsels are a wonderful addition – either as parting favors or as a dessert option for your guests. Many brides have now opted to include these stations in their weddings, but they also make a great addition to any other event – social party, corporate gala, quinceanera and more!
The photos below are all courtesy Amy Atlas – the designer of all things sweet! Browse through the photos and let your taste buds soar.

We came across this recent photo shoot and just HAD to share with all of you Twilight fans. In reality, whether you are a fan or not, this color scheme is gorgeous. Black, white and red for a romantic, brooding wedding reception.
Everything is gorgeous – the dress, the cake, the flowers, chandelier – perfect!
Thanks to the Wedding Chicks for sharing this inspiration!
