Downtown San Antonio – International Center Reception

The International Center – located in downtown San Antonio on Saint Mary’s Street – is a perfect reception location, equipped with a beautiful balcony view.

A few weekends ago we catered a wedding with San Antonio flare. The bride event selected bold, latin-infused colors – bright, fun and passionate!

The buffet style dinner featured beef and chicken fajitas, rice and beans. All event linens were orange crush with red chair covers and chocolate brown accents. Centerpieces varied between tall and short glass, square vases with assorted flowers in corals and reds, accented with curly willows.

Fort Sam Houston Medical Graduation

Earlier this month the Fort Sam Houston medical department graduated a group of talented medical professionals. The soldiers at Fort Sam, and across our great country, continually put their country first, and we were honored to be part of the graduation ceremony for these fine men and women.

The reception was decorated in the medical program’s colors, maroon and royal blue. From linens, floral decor and “finger food” hors d’oeuvres – including brochette, chicken diablo (chicken wrapped in bacon), veggies with dressings, cheese array, egg rolls, mini quesadillas, assorted tea sandwiches – An Event to Remember was there to salute the graduating class.

Reception and Dinner at the Witte Museum

If you are seeking a reception facility, the Witte Museum has fantastic event spaces from which to choose. We’ve catered quite a few events at the museum, and this past week we had the honor of catering the “Summer in San Antonio” themed dinner and reception for San Antonio’s chapter of the International Special Events Society.

The cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception was hosted in the Ruiz House followed by dinner in the Memorial Ballroom. An Event to Remember’s linens were olive green pintuck with coral seat sashes. The centers of each table were in festive “Summer in San Antonio” spirits with lime wedges, pineapples and orchids — a colorful, fruitful combination. All cocktail tables at the reception were covered with orange rosette linens.

Our catering service included the following meal:

Appetizers
Fruit & Cheese Tree Display (pictured below)
Tray passed: fresh tomato and mozzarella bruschetta
Signature cocktail: Mango Martini (provided by BNB Bar Service)

Salad
Mixed field greens with slivered strawberries,
Walnuts and feta cheese finished with fresh raspberry vinaigrette

Entrée
Southwestern Grilled Chicken: Our delicious grilled chicken breast garnished with sliced tomatoes and avocados finished with Monterrey cheese. Served with cilantro lime rice and mixed grilled vegetables; Creamy jalapeño ranch served on the side

Dessert
Fresh cheesecake topped with whipped cream; Garnished with assorted fruit and glaze

The event was wonderful, and we thank ISES for the opportunity to provide full service catering for such a spectacular event.

Black & White with Floral Infusion

One of our latest events took black and white to new heights with splashes of colorful floral infusion.

The ceremony and reception were held in San Antonio at Oak Hills. With an elegant linen scheme of black and white, splashes of fucshia, coral, mango and magenta lit the way for a exciting, colorful wedding. Centerpieces on the tables rotated between tall glass cylinders topped with floral bouquets, and elegant bunches of bouquets atop the crisp, white linen.
